It started with an exchange on Whatsapp between Max and myself.
“Hey, I would love to have you join us for the launch of the menu I curated for the new restaurant. Are you available this Friday for the launch party?”
Needless to say that : Yes I was available, or at least I was going to make myself available. I have been an admirer of Max’s creative and intelligent cuisine ever since I first tried it.
“Also could you bring Luis-Eduardo Quezada as your plus one? I have been very interested in his work as a music producer and would appreciate it if you could introduce us.”
You’ve got it, Max!
From that first night, which I still call one of the best meals of my life, I saw their beautiful friendship blossom into a partnership in which each other’s talent flourishes and feeds the other’s creativity.
So it presented itself as evidence to write the first volume of “Dynamic Duos of San Miguel”. A wind of youth and originality is blowing over the city through their collaboration.

A revolution is taking shape, thanks to the remarkable partnership between young chef Max del Sol and visionary producer Luis-Eduardo. Each bringing their unique talents to the table and the stage, their collaboration is not just about fine dining and music; it’s a fusion of culture, creativity, and passion that aims to elevate.

Max del Sol, known for his innovative takes on traditional dishes, combines age-old recipes with contemporary techniques.  With an energetic spirit and a talent for crafting exquisite dishes, Max’s cooking is both a celebration of his heritage and a bold step forward in the culinary world.

Their next event will take place at Florios on November 15th, Max has worked in tight collaboration with the Swine & Wine festival and this will be the peak of the festivities with Luis-Eduardo featuring the famous Lady Zen on the stage!
